Thick-cut slices of fresh white bread spread with tangy mayonnaise, layered with baby spinach, slices of garlic polony, pan-fried smoked viennas, crispy golden potatoes, a fried egg and cheese slices to create a #JustDelicious Dagwood. Serve topped with mango atchar and BBQ mayonnaise.

Eskort Smoked Viennas

1 loaf

white bread


large potatoes, thinly sliced

5 ml




8 slices


60 ml

BBQ spice

80 ml


125 ml

mango atchar

2 handfuls

baby spinach


oil for cooking and deep frying


  • Slice the bread into 8 thick slices.

  • Slice the garlic polony into 1 cm slices.

  • In a small frying pan fry the Viennas until heated through.

  • In a shallow pot deep fry the potatoes until golden and crispy, season with salt.  

  • In a frying pan fry the eggs until cooked to your taste.

  • Combine the BBQ sauce and mayonnaise in a small mixing bowl. 


  • Spread generous amounts of the mayonnaise onto each slice of bread.

  • Add baby spinach, polony, Viennas, potato chips, an egg and cheese slices.

  • Top with atchar and more mayonnaise dressing.
