Cheesy Beef Gnocchi

They say that there’s a little bit of Italian in all of us, you’ll impress everyone with this #JustDelicious easy cheesy recipe!

Serves: 4



375 g

Eskort Beef Sausages, sliced

500 g


15 ml

olive oil

2 cloves

garlic, minced

1 can

diced tomatoes

5 ml

dried parsley

2.5 ml

dried origanum




ground black pepper

65 ml


200 g

Mozzarella cheese, grated


fresh Italian flat leaf parsley, to garnish


  • Preheat oven to 200°C.

  • Heat olive oil in a large ovenproof frying pan.

  • Add gnocchi and cook, stirring frequently, for about 7 - 8 minutes, or until lightly browned.

  • Remove from pan and set aside.

  • Add the beef sausages to the pan, and cook until browned and cooked through.

  • Remove sausages from pan and set aside.

  • Add a little more oil to the pan if needed and add the diced tomatoes, garlic, parsley, origanum, salt and pepper to the pan. Bring to a simmer. Return the gnocchi to the pan.

  • Stir in the cream, and cook a few minutes more, until everything is heated through.

  • Top with Mozzarella cheese and place pan in oven for 5 minutes or until cheese has melted and is bubbling.

  • Remove from oven and serve warm with a sprinkling of Italian flat leaf parsley.
